This place suits me perfectly, with great wi-fi, friendly 24-hour reception, and a lovely bar/lounge area. I still remember how the staff helped me retrieve my forgotten earpods. I highly recommend dining basket. I'm coming back for a city break.

Wonderful to have the freedom to wander around the abbey and gardens, dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent as was breakfast, great location in the cloisters
Our room was too small, there were larger rooms , it would be advisable to check.

The serene atmosphere made for a peaceful getaway. The free access to the abbey at night really sets this place apart. Exploring the beautifully restored abbey after hours felt magical. My room, a Classic Double Room, was furnished and had large windows that overlooked the gardens. It felt spacious and cute. Breakfast showcased local products and had a good selection, though some items were a bit lukewarm. Service was great, particularly at the reception, a plus. Unfortunately, the restaurant was fully booked , disappointing. The gym facilities felt more like an afterthought. The limited equipment didn't really cater to a proper workout. While I loved the unique experience and fine location, the dining reservation system and gym facilities could definitely use some attention.

Excellent location: sleeping in the abbey gives you more chances to explore it when there are fewer people around. The room was small but very quiet, with a view on the garden of the abbey. The restaurant of the hotel was fully booked but the staff at the reception booked another great restaurant for us (La Licorne).
We did not have breakfast there as we found it too expensive: there is a nice boulangerie just in front of the abbey, anyway. The shower needs some renovation (not enough pressure for cold water).

Location. The history associated with it and the setting. The staff were excellent. The dinner menu was great and the food outstanding if a little pricy. Wine list good and reasonably priced. Room was a reasonable size with view over gardens. As a central point for visiting towns in the Loire Valley a good choice!
For a e134 double room the room was pretty basic - no minibar, only a shower with restricted space in shower room and minimal guest items. Wifi only in the bar. Breakfast was pricy for what it was a very limited self selection. Toaster which was partly broken, mini offering of hot food where containers were empty. Not good value for money unless you choose it for its location!

The restaurant is delightful and the staff very friendly and efficient. The fact that a seminar was in progress did not disturb the individual customers which is to be commended. Having the use of a lift is also welcome in such an antique monument.
The parking lot is very distant. Thankfully the permission to drive near for unloading was welcome.

Nice service, I truly enjoyed delicious food.
I had a fab stay in a long time. The staff was cool and brilliant, the accommodation was atmospheric and clean. The breakfast was exceptionally nice and served in the dining area with plenty of food. The room was fabulous and wonderful, the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Super location really close to the ibar/restaurant via the reception doors, I felt safe. I ate in the gastronomic restaurant nearby: D

Wonderfull location.
I was disappointed in the restaurant. I expected it would be more gastronomic. Too small portions without really being special. Gastronomic doesn't mean a big plate with small portions, but tasty combinations. So restaurant is overpriced.

good strolls through historic abbey and nearby parks
I loved wandering the quiet grounds of the abbey on a summer evening, taking in the beauty of the landscape and the sense of history that surrounded me, and I also appreciated that the hotel is just a short walk from the fine Chateau de Montsoreau-Museum of Contemporary Art, making it a perfect base for exploring the area.
